Message :You cant make thesr statements without backing them up.

Whats to back up? How hard is it to look up commonly available flow charts? I don't understand why this so difficult for people to grasp. A long narrow core will be restrictive vs a short wide core. Period. End of story.

You are telling me a guy making over 700rwhp should put some side mount intercoolers?

Would I recommend Stillen SMIC's over Apollo in any case? Yes, because they flow better. However, if we are talking 700RWHP with no NOS, freezing of the core, or any of that BS, then I would think either of them would be inadequate. In this case, I would suggest a properly designed FMIC, ie one that has a charge air face large enough to support the flow of a big turbo. Guess what? Any of the commonly available horizontal flow FMIC's will be inadequate. The only way to fit a core big enough is in a top down configuration.

Are you joking?

Nope

As for overheating, I dont have any problems with that and will give you my feedback with my new 3.5" core.

Did I mention overheating in this thread? Nope. Most street cars and dyno queens probably wouldn't have a problem with overheating. Road course *might* be a different story though. Honestly, I'm more concerned with pressure drop. If you want to give me pressure drop feedback, I'd love to have it. Please. I'm begging you. With the following caveats: No NOS, and no freezing of the core. Thanks
